Narrative
Uncle Chandler was a good Christian man and a very hard worker. He and my father worked in the custom home-building business for a number of years: Chandler would do the framing and rough work, and my dad would do the finish work. I remember going to his house and always enjoying listening to him joke around with my father. He spoke Spanish rather well (he did go on a mission trip to Guatemala for two years) and taught at a school in Easton, California where he was able to converse with some of the Hispanic students. He struggled with Leukemia for several years before he died.
