Camden - William J. Park passed away at 4 o'clock Thursday at his home on the Seventh. He had been in failing health for about two years.
Mr. Park was born in Camden Sept. 21, 1857, on the same farm on which he died. The farm has been in the Park family for over 100 years, although a new house has been erected. he was the son of the late Francis and Clarissa Woods Park. He was twice married. His first wife, Julia Goodyear, whom he married in 1872, died many years ago. In July 1901 he was married to Alice Frances Sparrow.
Surviving are his wife, two sons, Charles of Syracuse, and Junius who is attending Syracuse University, two daughters, Mrs. Anna Porter, Camden, and Miss Elsie Park, at home, a sister Miss Carrie Park, and seven grandchildren.
Mr. Park was a man highly esteemed by a large circle of friends. He was a charter member of Camden Grange and was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Thank you for your note and the chart. That did answer a number of questions. Since you have found unfilled out membership application papers among her[Elsie Mary Park Osborne's] stuff, it would indicate that while she was in contact with The Society, she never, for whatever reason, followed through with the process.
However, I am happy to tell you that the attachment you sent along does correctly detail her line as being from Robert (1STW1) Parke (MA, 1630) through his son Thomas (02T1), and hence through Nathaniel, Jacob, Jacob, Jacob, Francis, William Junius who married first Julia Goodyear, and secondly Alice Sparrow, to children Charles Francis, Anna Clara, Junius Albert, and your Elsie Mary Parke who married Richard K. Osborne. The children of Charles Francis: Charles Francis, Jr., Dorothy Anne, and Elizabeth Jane, all became members of the Society.
This lineage is classified under the Lineage Key "T" and the Chart No. 12.

At 88 years old, Robert Sparrow was widowed and living with William J. Park's family during the 1910 Federal Census. Also living with them were 49 year old Alfred L. Sparrow, Alice's brother, and William's sister, Carrie, who was 55 at the time. Elsie was 8 and Junius was 5.
