Patricia Rose (Duncan) Dickson was born on Sept. 9, 1926, to Rush and Lucy Duncan, in Sanbasqual, Calif., and died in her daughter's home on May 1, 2007, in Prineville, Ore.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, May 8, 2007, at 10 a.m. at the Powell Butte Cemetery.

She went to school in Cottage Grove.

In 1946, she married Elsworth Dickson, in Prineville. They bought a place in Powell Butte, Ore., where they ran a dairy.

They raised seven children: Elsie, Everett (Buddy), Ernest, Richard, Judy, Lola and Dwaine.

She enjoyed knitting, square dancing, traveling, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She also enjoyed helping at the Powell Butte Church, especially Vacation Bible School with the arts and crafts.

Survivors include: two sisters, Lucille Picknell, from Pendleton, Ore., and Anita Jorrey from San Diego, Calif.; two daughters, Lola Dickson of Prineville, and Judy and Jerry Dunaway, also of Prineville; two sons, Richard and his wife Darlene Dickson of Susanville, Calif., and Dwaine and Janet Dickson of Terrebonne, Ore.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers, two sons, and a daughter.

Deschutes Memorial Chapel of Bend, Ore., is serving the family.
