West Family Tree

This is from an old schoolbook that my parents kept. It says they lived first in Texas, then in Mississippi?

Perhaps there were two moves to Texas, since Grandpa Wayne West's cousin said that they moved out to Texas when they were children in a wagon, which doesn't seem to be the case, unless they moved twice.
