According to the article, Little Tootie stepped off an apron of a
drop of the canal into a deep pool of water. She was in the water
for approx. 15 mins. when Hank arrived and recovered her from the
water. Rebecca was on duty at an airplane observation tower. Once
she arrived, she started first aid but to no avail. The article
states that Tootie's age was 6 yrs. old, David, as 7 yrs. old, and
his cousin, Ralph Eldridge as 7.
