Narrative
Eunice Banks and Tallie Estes were married when they were both 19 yrs old. Tallie had typhoid fever and died one year later. They had built a house on land that Granny Carpenter had given them. When Grandpa Banks died she divided the children's half and each received the deed when they were 21 yrs old. Eunice moved back home and as was the custom she worked for her board and room by doing laundry for the farm hands.
